The saying is true... a picture is worth a thousand words. A picture can capture emotions and actions and create a snapshot in time to be preserved forever. I love creating a story through a single image, playing with the angle and moment that I may be capturing. I try to capture candid moments to enhance whatever story they accompany, or I try to create something powerful enough it can stand alone. Each staffer is responsible for the photos for their story, and editors are expected to take photos at assemblies and other events that are automatically being covered, giving us the experience to create captivating photos.
